Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Iris (the "Service"), operated by Plan4 (Yannis Iliadis), Greece ("we", "us"). By signing up you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The Service
Iris collects, normalises, stores, analyses and alerts on firewall logs that you send to it. Iris is provided as a tool; it does not replace your obligation to operate a secure network or to monitor it yourself. You remain responsible for the security of your devices, networks, users and data.
3. Account and use
- You must be at least 18 and act on behalf of a real organisation.
- You must keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your workspace.
- You may not reverse-engineer the Service, attempt to disrupt it, abuse the ingestion endpoint with non-syslog traffic, or use Iris to monitor third parties without lawful authority.
4. Plans and billing
- The current public plan is Standard at €199 / month + VAT, including 25 devices, 90-day retention, 2000 events/minute, weekly PDF reports, AI alert triage, and email support.
- 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
- Billing is processed by Stripe. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refunds, except where required by mandatory law.
- VAT/GST is applied based on your billing address. EU customers with a valid VAT number can be billed under the reverse-charge mechanism.
5. Service availability
We target 99% monthly uptime for the web application and ingestion endpoint, measured monthly excluding planned maintenance announced ≥ 24h in advance. Iris is a single-region service; we offer no formal SLA credits at this stage. For mission-critical setups, contact us to discuss high-availability options.
6. Customer data
Customer data (firewall logs, alerts, account data) remains your property. We process it strictly as described in the Privacy Policy and any signed Data Processing Agreement. We will not sell, rent or use customer data to train AI models other than what is necessary to deliver the requested AI triage feature on your alerts.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will treat the other's non-public information as confidential and use it only to perform under these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS". WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Iris does not guarantee detection of all security threats, zero false positives, or fitness for any specific compliance framework.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms for any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue or data, except in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
10. Term and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. Either party may terminate for material breach if not cured within 30 days of written notice. We may suspend the Service immediately for non-payment after 7 days' notice, or for security/abuse reasons.
11. Data export and deletion on termination
On termination, you can download a complete export of your workspace data for 30 days after termination. After that, all your data is permanently deleted (including from backups) within a further 30 days, except billing data retained for tax-law obligations (10 years, Greek law).
12. Governing law and forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of EU/EEA residents.
13. Changes
We may amend these Terms by giving 30 days' notice via email to workspace admins. If you do not agree, you can terminate before the changes take effect.
